Subject: NH 2019 proposed senate budget
Included in the NH senate budget:
-$100 million in additional education funding
-$ 40 million revenue distribution.
Senate district 24, (12 municipalities including Hampton) would get roughly $1.3 million back total, over 2 years.
-$ 60 million increase to medical provider rates. "for recruitment & retention in healthcare workforce. " More state bureaucracy expenses forever...
Is there any budget allocation for clean water or NH aging infrastructure? I am concerned , if any exists, that is probably not enough.
What about redistribution of rooms & meals? What about the supposed " catch up formula?"
What about millions transferred out of Hampton based state park's revenues annually?
I would argue this budget is "built on sticks," & not sustainable for the NH taxpayer. Also, this proposed budget includes more government suffocation, in my view.
A "joke" for NH hardworking taxpayers, I would also argue.
